I started my diet in June when I was at 230. The picture attached is from October where I'm 200 pounds. I've lost another 10 pounds since then and should be at 170 (my goal) by my one year anniversary of the diet.

BMI=27. I would have to lose 20 pounds to get to the 'acceptable' level of 24. I've already lost almost 40 pounds since this time last year, I guess I have more to go according to the 'officials'. I think I could have been considered 'fat' then but now, I'm not so sure.

I don't know if we were the only kids who did it but up here, we referred to cicadas as locusts, even though they really weren't. I had never seen a real locust before till I was in the parking lot of Publix and saw one on the ground. That was the only one I saw in the nine months I was there...

Unc, could he be talking about Palmetto bugs? I'm sure Q knows all about those. When I lived in Florida, they were described as big flying cockroaches. One of them got stuck in the water of the pool I was in and chased me around-it freaked me out.

Not only do they have the cameras on selected stoplights in NYC, they take pictures of you and your car to mail you a ticket if you run a red light. It doesn't bother me much if it's for a good reason. To deter shoplifting, to see what traffic is doing, etc.

The breed of dog in that case has been bred for dog fighting for years. I'm sure you could train alot of dogs to be attack dogs but that's what this dog was specifically bred and trained for. I don't think that only training will determine whether a dog is aggressive or not-it has alot to do...
