    Explorer Problem

I've had Win ME installed for two years without a problem. I recently installed Adobe Acrobat 5 and the problem occured while printing a document with Adobe. I disabled the splash screen (something to do with true-type fonts) and it seemed to go away...

    Soyo K7VTA-Pro

Yep, I've thrown everything at this board, including an upgraded processor and bios flash, as well as installing WIN ME, Debian , RedHat and Libranet on a triple boot. It never complains! Of course, I'm not an overclocker! Again, I'm not a gamer, so the onboard sound has been decent, but not...

    Soyo K7VTA-Pro

Hello; I have had this board for about 4 months now. Flawless! I just go the bios upgrade and an Athlon XP 1700 and it runs wonderfully with pC133 Crucial memory. As you can tell, I love this board. Thank you wifie!

    Marriage Age

I thought that it was when the woman told you that you were ready? I've been told that twice already! It took me two times to get it right. In my case, it was 34.

    Yates Poll

I think that this verdict suggests to me that there was some doubt in the about her state of mind at the time of these horrible acts. I see that the issue of who to blame has already started. Rather than resulting to pointing fingers, hopefully this verdict will force society to look for...

    Whacked story of the day

Hey, he's just a chip off the old block! Didn't Freud say something like "sometimes a dummy is just a dummy!" Or was it Clinton; "sometimes a cigar is just a cigar!"

    Why I love XP

Yahooow! Dual boot WIN XP and Debian (Libranet) Linux (XFS) on an IBM Thinkpad!!! Let's see if I can mess up XP, or maybe even use it!! Hmm.. I still like Libranet though. "Let the games begin." :smash:

    Zyban Anyone?

Hello; Remember, this medication is effective to help with the physical cravings. Two things with this habit, physical and psychological addiction. In theory, Zyban works on the physical cravings, so you have to want to do it as well! To all of you, keep up the good work!

    Whacked link of the day

oops, sorry if I wasn't clear. I currently have fat32 with WIN ME and XFS with Libranet on the system. I don't know if the recovery disks have WIN XP on them as part of the recovery process, or just the recovery tools. There are two CD's that make up the recovery pack. I went to IBM's site...

    Trolling?

I saw this post also, which left me a bit uneasy about his motives. Problem is, if he is offering a solution that is valid, that is one thing. If the "solution" does not work, it does reflect on the board administrator and the site. At the very least, he should ask permission to post what is...

    Whacked link of the day

Interesting! So.. you can convert NTFS back to fat 32! I'll have to take a look at the recovery disks. I put them in the "later" file. You don't get the full WIN XP CD ROM, just the recovery disks. The first time I started the system, it automatically converted (with no help from me) to NTFS...

    Whacked link of the day

ahh... but what they fail to mention, is that on pre-configured systems, such as my Thinkpad, the default file system is NTFS. So, after my disaster with WIN XP (the second time I booted with straight XP, the infamous blue screen came up "the system will be shut down to prevent possible damage")...

    Why I love XP

Hi all; I always believe in giving credit where it is due. IBM came through with the recovery CD's. All it took was a call to the help center. Libranet is installed and I'm off..........:beerchug:
