With or without water ?

When I have my Laphroaig at the local nightclub, should I add water to it or not ?

What's the opinion of the whiskey experts here ?

it sorta depends on what kind of whiskey it is .. if it's a great whiskey, don't add water - that just defeats the purpose of enjoying a good whiskey ... if it's a cheapie whiskey, add all the water you want

Try it with grated parmesan and fresh cracked pepper. Maybe a little minced garlic...but not too much.

id only have water with everclear and thats cause it burns your throat. i havent had to have any chasers wiht whiskey myself
