You should see some of the plugs I remove from engines...
at least I'm not in the "Rust Belt" anymore! so there is a lot less stripped threads in cylinder heads.
Oh you DID use Anti-sieze compound on the new plugs right?:)

Update :) exhaust repaired at our favourite garage place, $190 cdn with tax. Phew. Now just the test tomorrow and the car angst is complete for awhile. But he has it in his head now that he wants new tires... :(

:D WOOHOO!

We passed! Phew big sigh of relief! The hydrocarbons were at 71, limit 80, so that was close, but wow am I happy now. :D Safe for another 2 years. I like Nissan.

100% out of spec??? and it still ran??? That's impressive.


I'm just glad Quebec doesn't have testing ... yet.

:lol: It did! And we didn't notice that anything was amiss, either. The only difference now that they're in properly is that it starts in 2 seconds instead of 4. :D I really like Nissan. This car is impressive all round.

Quebecers haven't figured out what a yield sign is. The idea of stopping and then going just wouldn't sink in.
