Anyone still on Diablo?

I'm still interested, just on a hiatus. I tend to play games in waves, and I've been playing others lately. I will get back to it eventually.

I just played both my characters and the mule, so they aren't going anywhere for the next 90 days.

I totally forgot about the mule. I've been playing mostly on Europe, but I will get back to USEast now. Found an interesting Assassin concept I'm willing to try. Mostly because she can kill the Über three...

I case you didn't know I found out there are many useful uniques that can be traded for Perfect Gems theses days. I just acquired Occulus Orb(excelent starter Sorc weapon) and Guillaume's Face(nice helm for any melee char) helm last week for 25 PGems.

Does it matter what type? Frankly, 25 perfects ain't that hard to come by.

Finally had an encounter with the infamous Diablo Clone. I was leveling with my Blizzard-Fireball sorceress in a Hell game when I started to receive the "Stones of Jordan sold to merchants" message regularly, indicating it would spawn on my server. I then quickly bailed out and loaded my Boss Killer Paladin I assembled specially for moments like this one. After some waiting I received the "Diablo Walks The Earth". I go to Cold Plains and spawn him in place of Bishibosh. Then the game crashed and I was bailed out. I was like "arrrrgh", but then tried to join again and miraculously I was able to. I resumed my hunting, cleaned the monsters around him before trading blows straight with the bugger. My Pally passed his first test sucessfully and put him down with no much effort.
I regret I got no Screenshots of him, but I have one of the Annihilus charm he drops to prove the deed:

You lucky bastard! I've been trying to level up the Xi mule. Found a Manald Heal a couple mights ago.

Jonas, what's the skills/attributes mix on that pally? Hammerdin? Zealot? Specifically, what skills need to be invested in?

I'm building the Xi mule for the hell of it. May as well do it right. Unc and I got him from the middle of act 2 to the endgame in normal yesterday. Got all the way to making the first swing on Ba'al and Bnet kicked us. Grrr.

For a Zealot you need to max Zeal, Fanaticism and Sacrifice in that order. The rest can go to Holy Shield. Basically spend points into Zeal until lvl 30, then max Fanaticism, the complete Zeal if you already haven't, and pump Sacrifice last.
I already went for the the Zeal path with, because it had already some points spent in some Defensive auras that are not usable later and a Hammerdin needs 20 more points to be completed.(Blessed Hammer, Concentration, Vigor and Blessed Aim)

As for atributes, enough Strength to wear your equipment, enough Dexterity to keep max block with Holy Shield on and all the rest to Vitality. It's hard to calculate how much strenght you will need if you don't have your final equipment yet, so I usually shoot for 110-125 range, which is the requirements of most Elite weapons. As for dex, cast your Holy Shield(you may want to spend at least 5 points earlier to increse duration) then hover your mouse over the defense field in the char screen to see if you already have max block(75 % is max achievable), then increase your dexterity as needed. No energy is needed. Get a %Mana stolen per hit ring if you want to keep your mana always full. Zeal only uses 2 mana per attack so it is not an issue...

ATM, I've got him up to 26th, and have plugged one point into each available skill. TIme to ratchet up Zeal, methinks.

That's why Hammer is out of question. A Hammerdin with only the needed skills gets completed at level 77 with all quests done. With points spent in every skill available you'll need to advance to 90 probably to reach maximum development. If you still have that Cleglaw's Sword and Gloves on him, that can probably take your Zealot to mid-Nightmare(Glegs sword gain max dmg per level if you equip another item from the Set)

I still have it, but I've converted to Sigon's, of which I have 4 pieces. The 10% life steal in itself is damned nice.

Made a new sorc under my account as a new mule. If you need things, let me know. Right now, she's carrying all but the visor of a Cathan's set (which is why I created her), and a fairly nice sorc shield.

The Xi mule now has a little carrying space (he was MAXED), and still has a ton of really nice gear on him.

What level is your sorc? I eventually stumble upon Cathan's visor, so I'll look up into it. I may also have some weapons for the Mule Zealot. My char are overloaded with stuff, so let me know if you need something specific...

The new sorc is currently 9th and moving up. Cathan's is 11th, so in two levels she'll become a minor badass.

The quest sorc is 62nd. Her equipment setup is just fine without Cathan's.

Yeah, Unc and I keep running out of room on mules. That's one of the reasons I created this new one.
