I've been to one of those in Uniondale at Hofstra University. Some of the vendors have inflated prices but if there's a popular item, the vendors have price wars with each other and if you walk around long enough, you'll find the lowest price. It wasn't as big as I thought it would be...

She's right. It takes time it to get the 911 call and dispatched to the Firehouse, to get the firemen to the firehouse, suited up and on the road... The first call has been waiting longer than the second one and if they're both the same priority, the first call comes first.

I guess for people who don't like to read as a hobby, it might be a pain to wait to be called. But the act of sitting on a jury would be interesting to me, and I look at it like you do Steve, as a duty. I've been registered to vote for years, I don't know why they don't pick me. :( ;)
