How do you make those cool bit maps or gifs? I just autocad for everything and convert them.

Photoshop and Jasc's PSP, for a less expensive alternative.

Ulead PhotoImpact 4.2... easy and quick, has a lot of features I'm still learning.

Photoshop6 and Fractal Painter 6. I always love to use Fractal painter all the time using my Wacom graphire.

I use Photoshop mostly. But I like PSP and Fireworks for certain things.

There's a free demo of this great program called ZBrush at <a href="http://www.pixologic.com"><font color="red">Pixologic</font></a> that has some fantastic 3D effects. Really easy to use as well.
