WHY???
Think about hookings a keyboard and mouse(using usb wireless kick it on the couch)) ,and installing windows XP on a partition ,and getting the NIC hooked up.
Then you would have a Web surfer ,DVD 5.1 ,Total game (xbox/pc games)rig entertainment centerhooked to your HDTV.
vs DVD game box that cant play with other people for like 6 months.

no no ,like $300 for xbox ........$350 with DVD stuff ,maybe $400 ,and you have a cool setup for your tv .
Some people like the thrill of doing stuff like this ,there are people who take those $100 internet appliances and turn them into pc's for like $50 and some effort ,its just fun and doing what your not suppose to do ,like overclocking.
Taking a $100 cpu and getting a $200 cpu for free,..... FUN!!!
