I almost bought one of these

when I was in Panama. The SP's at Howard AFB were selling them on the DRMO market. I bid $500, and I lost to someone who bid $501...and that was this guy's last dollar, too. I would've gone higher, but I remembered one important thing...I had a weight limit on shipping a vehicle back to the USA...That sucker weighs about 3 metric tons (tonnes for you UK folks)

Seriously, though...Any accident I get into could be repaired with a can of Krylon and a trip to the car wash. If someone is tailgating, I could just hit the brakes. If someone is running a red-light (SOP in SC), I can just keep moving...The possibilities are endless...

That 'SUV from hell' isn't your ordinary armored car. The shell is 1/4 inch thick steel. It'll stop a 7.62mm round at point-blank range. You can even get it with air bags. I ain't scared of no big-rigs...
