acid, try changing your outgoing mail server to your ISP's mail server. You should still be able to send mail as [email protected] but it won't be as fast as if you could do it on our servers.

I've opened a hotmail solely for the purpose of msn, have never ever once used that address for anything, have all the filters on high, and said no to anything that could possibly bring me spam, and I'm still getting porn mail

theyll send porn no matter what. on more than one occasion i have blocked emails sending porn and then i get a porn email from the same addy. it doesnt matter if you sign up or not. apparently if your 18 or over you get it. even if you dont want it.

Even if you're UNDER 18 you get it.

When I still had access to my old hotmail account, I was getting about 300 spams every hour. Every time I would refresh about every 5 minutes, there would be 5-10 new messages. I gave up trying to unsubscribe from them all and trying to delete them all in order to keep the account.

fury, the reason you would still get them if you tried blocking or deleting them or unscribing is because the fact is that it proves your addy is still good. i will admit that my yahoo account i dont get too many ads except sara-freeder and i delete them and tried unscribing from them. its one of those ms.cleo type things. no matter what, people will still get BS in their mail which is a bummer. and isnt it illegal to send a minor porn?
