Falcons announce price cut on season tickets
June 20, 2002
ATLANTA (AP) -- The Atlanta Falcons cut prices on some season tickets Thursday, making it possible to see all 10 home games for as little as $100.
The pricing structure was announced by new owner Arthur Blank as part of a plan to lure more fans to the Georgia Dome, which is rarely sold out.
In addition to the $370 season ticket price for lower-level seats, the Falcons reduced prices on 23,000 seats in the upper deck.
The new prices are $100, $190 and $240 for the two exhibition games and eight regular-season contests. Previously, season tickets in those areas were $330 and $370.
