Has anyone tried it?
Once applied to a locked CPU's broken L1 bridges - it becomes unlocked and the adhesive seal keeps it that way. The seal is pre-cut to fit just right and works very well.
The pencil trick has been working for many months for my Duron 700 @ 1000. The last time I had to repencil it was when the heatsink fell off and the temperature on the ceramic package smoked off the graphite
