finally installed RH7.2 on my system. However need to reconfigure the bootstructure as I have a Promise Ultra66 IDE card that holds the HD with Win2k OS to boot off on. I have a IDE HD on the Secondary Master and a IDE66 HD on the PromiseUltra66 PCI card as the Primary Master for boot. Any thoughts how to edit grub to boot from a on-board IDE card with an IDE66 HD attached to it? I may reconfigure my Win2k Bootloader instead if I can't get GRUB to boot the Win2k IDE HD.
When trying to edit the GRUB boot my DOS boot shows "hd(0,0)" only with "chainloader +1"

Second issue, since i'm a 1-way Cable modem user(Use dialup modem to connect for upstream) I have a static IP address
IP: xx.xxx.x.xxx
SubNet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway:24.221.1.249
DNS 1 24.221.30.3
DNS 2 24.221.30.4
I've tried disabling my 2nd NIC in Gnome since i run ICS on my box with Win2k and I am the server. Even with the settings on the main eth card, no activity on the cable modem. even used the network monitor and it showed it was sending data up/down but nothing at all. Run me by plz plz!!!
