Just got this as well:

Please be aware that a new computer virus identified as the “HI” virus has been found on the Merrill network. The email apparently starts of with a ‘hi’ message and has a file attached with a .txt extension. Do not under any circumstances open the attached file. In fact, it’s best to simply delete the email without reading it at all. Tech Support is going around upgrading the virus protection software on the machines.

Every virus I see always spreads itself quickest within work facilities. Is America's work force really that much stupider than home users?

No, they're generally the same users. They're just all on the same LAN at the same time. That kind of concentrated idiocy is unstoppable.
