New Video Card Ordered

I just ordered a new Video Card from newegg..... selling the old Geforce3 to my brother, this one has VideoOut\VideoIn and should clock very high... 185 bucks

I've been trying to find out, but I bet it's 4ns ... the 128mb cards are a little slower on ram speeds

I will probably pick either this up or an Radeon 8500 128mB today (4200 $179; 8500 $199). I could probably pick it up cheaper online but I just feel like spending some $$ right now.

While not as cool looking as Kruz's 4200, first results are in:

3dmark2k1: 1024x768x32TxZ24 TB No AA:
GF2TI: 1828
GF4-4200: 3579

This on a p3-450/xp/256mB

What's weird is my Q3 scores: my old GF2 is beating the 4200 by at least .5 fps in every category except AA.

I finally got to see the nature demo and the pixel demo in action tonight...very sweet (sorry; school and rent has been eating my income for the last 1.5 years; at least you got to play with your new toys way back when! )
