my printer is not well

I can print about half a page and then get an error that says 'head failure'. I just paid $30 for a new cartridge a couple of weeks ago, and I am unhappy. I unplug it and let it cool off and then it will print another half page. :cry:
 
Maybe you should water cool it. :D

Sorry s4, I couldn't help myself :lol: but perhaps fuser has some ideas.
 
Unfortunately, buying a new head is usually just as expensive as buying a new printer. :(
 
It's a Lexmark Z32. I have a Lexmark 3200 as a backup, so I'm not too worried. This Z32 was new in December last year and has only been through one cartridge. They just don't make 'em to last anymore like in the good old days.

I don't know about a warranty and probably wont mess with it.
 
I don't know anything about that one as it's a U.S. only model.

Since it's under a year old they exchange the printer.
Here is a link to their site that tells you how to go about geting it fixed.


They are cheap printers. Once they break down, just toss it and buy a new one.

Now if you ever have a problem with an HP laser printer, I'm your man.
