So what happened, yeah Ive been drinking and have a question. When did the music die? Coming out of the '60s there was an explosion of artist with melodic songs across all genre's. Then in the late '80s it was like the head got cut off. We had only grunge and techno pop, the music died. Was it the record labels, what happened? I have seen a documentary where women feel the same way, lead roles, rock band fronts, etc....then it stopped. Good songs are dead, there is no slow rock, blues feeling music out there on the radio. Its in your face , porn rock...give me the '70s porn any day, at least it was shot on film, but really WTF happened to the music, only a hand full of artist broke through, now its just crap, and country has become pop, WTF. Country used to be George Jones and Rock was Led Zeppelin, Metal was Judas Priest, now an artist can try to do all 3, but there not good at one.......
