Woke up to about 2" rain falling per hour; luckily we weren't flooded out but a lot of people were.

Then this. Five blocks from the office. My sister was about 50' away when it happened trying to catch a train home. Luckily she was just shaken up but otherwise ok.

Then I threw my back out. Good night...

Yep. But 2 good things happened: got hired @ bear stearns and my new 17" laptop came. So it wasn't a complete loss.
