Go to the User CP, and then click the "edit options" link on the left. Scroll down to "thread display options." Chances are it will look something like the attached image. Change the "default age cut off" drop-down list to "use forum default" and you should be set.

Got it, you must go to the Show Thrads box below the New Thread Buttom and switch it to Show last year or something... Then it will show you indexes(?) where people said it would...

If my instructions are followed, it will automatically show threads from however long you want, every time... instead of having to do it manually each time.
