How do each of you bring in the Flow?

Just curious....

How do each of you bring in the Flow?

a.k.a - What do you all do for a living to bring home the cashflow?

------------

I'm a network engineer (MCSE, MCP+I). I work on servers, switches, routers, and the like to keep up a network of about 800 PC's. About 1000 devices total.

Cheers......gonna go grab a pop and come right back.

Well, I hope someday to become either a systems engineer... that guy that fixes the thing that people break... you know, those things called computers? :retard:

Or a programmer.

But networking is not one of my strong points. So, either a tech, or a programmer. Or maybe both. :smash:

Computer technician here and I hate it with a passion. Going to school to become one of those guys who get to fuck computers up. hehe

Actually, I would like to become a low level device programmer of sorts. Like assembly or c/c++ and develop low level shit like BIOS's or embedded devices. Cool stuff.

I own and operate a scuba diving operation here in the Philippines. I take divers out to the best spots in the country on this little boat that I have. :)

I also work for a company called Diavox technologies which designs software for Ericsson Cellular.

I also work for HWC as the Administrator.

I also make a small commission on people who ask me to build computers for them.

I'm looking for another job still! I'm addicted to work!

I work fer a local custom cabinet manufacturer. I'm considered by some to be a layout technician. A technical position which aligns itself most closely with engineerin'.

Not what I really desire to do, but it's a result of a "highschool only" education. (I think)

Actually, Im jus glad to 'ave employment at all, 'specially in economically slow times like these !!

:)

Currentely working in a kitchen, working to get things automated over there. And also do some cooking over there.
I also try to program some usefull apps to use over there. But I suck at it, and charge them way to much. But somehow they love me for it.

In september I'm back to school, hoping to become some annoying fucked up Manager™.

Well I'm still a high school student living at my parents house and I plan to do so for as long as I can. I myself don't work anywhere or with anything because of my studies and all the tests. MY 2 year younger brother got a job before me :)
I don't have plans for the future yet as to what I'm going to work with but I do know what I'm going to study at the university. :)

Those are worthwhile goals Dimme. You may not have a traditional job, but tell me that school isn't work.

I work for a small web-based software company. We make software that our clients use to organize large conventions. Some of our clients are Intel, HP, Peoplesoft, and Cisco.

I personally build pages for customers, run statistical reports off our Oracle database, monitor our servers and the network and do troubleshooting, draw up convention floorplans in AutoCAD, and whatever else needs done. I normally work at night 10pm to 6am so that our European and early morning East coast customers have a contact. I am normally either the only one in the office or working from home. I seldom ever see my co-workers and never met my current boss in person until several months after she had started.
