If anything from space is going to kill us all, it will most likely be all the orbital space junk that's gonna blow up the international space station and cause our planet to be blanketed in orbiting pieces of space stations, shuttles, and satellites.
With all of the junk we have floating up there now, we may not be able to get into space in 900 years. At the current rate of 'pollution', we'll have effectively 'paved' NEO space.
In 900 years, we'll have developed phasers and quantum torpedoes, and we'll be able to evaporate it.
In all seriousness though, the amount of pollution in space is really alarming, considering it was only ~40 years ago that we first set foot in space (iirc).
