Forget Dell, I'm getting a Dragon

I've been putting off a DDR board because of the RAM upgrades tht I'll need to do too. Well, they (Tiger) had 256MB 2100 for 19.99 after MiR & I couldn't resist. Decent price on the Dragon Ultra 400 too.

I got momma a Duron 1.3 to go in this K7VTA Pro (she has the 550 right now). Of course, it'll arrive on Monday as I head to MAine so it'll be a week before I can even look at it but next weekend my 3DMark scores should improve dramatically

Soon, they'll have 2700 on sale so I can upgrade to faster memory & get an XP...

How about this then. Is it ok to mix DDR? As in, should I buy a stick of 3200, will it go along for the ride with my 2100 or will they fight the whole time?

I'd imagine it's run at the lowest running speed of the ram (2100). At least that was the case with PC 66/100/133

Well, Soyo wouldn't be my first choice, but I'd definitly
take it over a dell.
I like the colors of thier boards, I just wish they made a
dual channel ddr version.
I haven't seen one. If there is one.
I do like that new VIA ddr400 chipset on thier P4s though.

Acid is right about the Ram, it will just run at the slower speed, but usually mixes well.
