Digital Camera, how much is aceptable resolution?

They are selling some digital photo cams for really buyable prices here with 1.3 megapixels of resolution. Is it that bad? By my calculations that gives you a pic of something like 1280x960 that's right? I'm seriously considering one of those as I can't afford to pay more than that right now

I've got a 1.3, and I'm pretty happy with it. You can't take professional type photos with it, but they look pretty good to me.

we use a couple of them here at work and everyone including ISO like em. so..... go for it noite.

Took me just 1 year to acquire the damn camera. I've got a Sony P-72 3.2 MP in a killer deal over internet

I've had 3.2 megapixels for a long-ass tiem now. I think you'll be happy with that.
