WARNING!
If anyone is ever at the Tim Horton's/Wendy's highway site in Woodstock Ontario on the 401 eastbound......DO NOT EAT THERE!
I was there last week upgrading their system and there where dead and alive mice everywhere! It was just nasty! Mouse s**t everywhere too!
Just about every restaurant you will ever be in has some sort of pest problem, be it mice, rats or roaches. Roaches are a real common one; anywhere you have lots of food coming in you're real likely to get them. That's why every single restaurant around here has to have a certified pest control company under contract whether there have been any pests or not.
So the fact the place has mice alone doesn't mean it's any better or worse than other restaurants. The effort, or lack thereof, they put into controlling the pests is the deciding factor.
The pizza place I work at used to have a nasty roach problem. Then my boss bought it, and he got a decent pest control service. Since I've been there, I've seen one live one and maybe two or three dead ones. That's not bad for more than a year in a restaurant. And there's little chance of roaches getting into the food, since it's kept cold and roaches don't like the cold.
