ok here's the deal

looks like were getting cable internet the isp will rent or you can buy you modem : now what i need to know from you who have cable internet is whats the best cable modem to buy ??

post your thoughts on this please

I rent the Motorola Surfboard 3100 & have never had a problem. The 4100 has a "shut off" button which would be nice. try www.dslreports.com for discussion on what sux.

Gonz has it there, thats a good widely used modem, thats a SB4100 in the pic.
