What would happen if your ears really DID hang low?

Would you really tie them in a knot, then tie them in a bow like the song says?

I don't know about you, but I'd rather throw them over my shoulder like a continental soldier, because it sounds like tying them would probably cause me to get them all tangled up.

Why, you ask?

Well, if my ears hung low, it would be like flashing a red cape within the sight of a bull. Little kids like to play with and pull things that hang out. Being around 2 little kids a lot, I would be a likely target for one of these attacks.

What would you do if your ears hung low?

If they hung that low, I would decorate them with jewelry and accessories. Use my earlobes as a scarf when it got cold. The possibilities are endless.
