Assuming you can afford it.......

Star Trek fans clamoring for DVDs in complete season box sets will soon have their wish come true. On March 26, Paramount Home Entertainment will launch their foray into the world of Star Trek: The Next Generation on DVD with the Season One box set, complete with the extras that make DVDs the hottest format for home viewing today.

Paramount Home Entertainment will kick off a year-long release campaign with a seven-disc collector's box set containing all 26 episodes from the first season, along with four newly created documentaries exclusive to the DVD release. A new season will be released every other month and the entire series is presented in newly remixed Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround.

Each season of TNG will be presented in a highly collectable box set, with seven discs and a pull-out booklet of episode information and a panoramic montage of the crew (Season 2 will have only six discs due to the abbreviated season of 22 episodes versus 26). The seven box sets will create an attractive library of the entire series.

Season 1 was ok, but IMHO, STNG didn't get good til season 3. Of course, if i get that, i'll have to get all the seasons.... ;)
