There's no way of stopping it, either. The media has the government in their back pocket.

A boycott would work but there is something even better. A free market. As soon as it becomes a widespread problem, they'll go broke refunding CDs from angry customers. Many of the protected discs won't work in DVD players or car players or cheap cd players , etc.

they are shooting themselves in the foot.
