The intake manifold is cracked, and the coolent system runs through it. That's why antifreeze was all over the place.

HELL NO!

96 mustang.

Here's what was done to it.

6L of oil
oil fiter
transmission fluid
air filter*
antifreeze
fuel filter*
thermostat
gasket
filter kit
gasket
manifold
gasket
and 5.3 hours of labour.

*things I asked to be done

The manifold part was $410.!

I think the 96 mustangs came stock with 96 engines.

you should have put on a aftermarket intake and grabbed a few ponies

Ya I picked it up today. I thought about getting an aftermarket
( $1400US ) one, but I could barly afford the OEM one.
Later, when I have time and money, then I will make her go zoom zoom superfast.
