Could be, but the default option when registering is just to use the forum's default, whatever it may be. In most cases except TBC in which it was 30, the default was 10 days

Patweb: The forum default has always been 10 days, I've changed it to 1000. If you're still getting them from 1 day ago, edit your options (in your user control panel)
