Ok, it's treadwear, I got it from memory. They said the Goodyear should last 60.000 km, which means the Conti should do 70.000. That is surely overrated as they were almost 'slick'' by 45.000...

I recently changed 2 Continental tires to Goodyear ones. I noticed the new have stamped "Threadwear: 240, Temperature A", while the old tires had Threadwear: 280. Is this a good thing or no. Did anyone knows what Threadwear stands for?
