The problem has been resolved on the customers machine already but I thought I would post this anyway...maybe someone else has encountered it. The OS detects and knows about the modem. I can telnet with it, talk to it, etc... However, when I go to use the modem through DUN or IE, it continuaously wanted to detect a modem. Of course, it never found one, nor could I install one. I tried it all. Uninstalling DUN, reinstalling it, updating DUN to 1.04, uninstalling IE manually and installing the latest version. Nothing. Never could figure it out. Finally had to reinstall the OS from scratch. Any thoughts on this one?
