I had a buddy weld my axle tube. his weld broke.

I asked another friend if I could use his mig welder. Nice Millermetric 210. Here are the after pictures. someof the welds do not look pretty, but it is holding up and I have already been wheeling with it.

How do you manage to get such welds while using a mig welder?!?
I've done (and ruïned) quite some things while welding tubes, but I didn't know this horrible things could be done to metal :p

Ah well, like Deanril said, as long as it holds ;)

Only thing I can guess is the person who owned it before me or before them was out jumping it.

The only weld that holds those tubes in a little 1/2 on both sides to stop it from spinning. They are pressed in at the factory.

I did how ever see the crack where the tube is pressed into the diff housing.

I was just merly fixing what someone previously broke. It still leaks fluid out. Hopefully it just crushed the seal and it is a easy fix, er well replacing a seal in that axle is not easy.
