Verizon FIOS

I've been waiting for this since I read it about six months ago in Max PC. Sounds pretty sweet (and $$$). Keeps timing out when I check to see if it's in the NY area, but I read over @ Shacknews that some guy in Tampa has it and loves it (has the $44.95 plan).

Verizon has just begun a line replacement in Ft Wayne. They're going to 100% fiber optic, adding a bunch of new jobs & promising Comcast competition.
