1. Only in America.... can a pizza get to your house faster than an ambulance.

2. Only in America...... are there handicap parking places in front of a skating rink.

3. Only in America...... do drugstores make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front.

4. Only in America......~ do people order double cheeseburgers, large fries, and a diet coke.

5. Only in America...... do banks leave bothdoors open and then chain the pens to the counters.

6. Only in America...... do we leave cars worth thousands of dollars in the driveway and put our useless junk in the garage.

7. Only in America...... do we use answering machines to screen calls and then have call waiting so we won't miss a call from someone we didn't want to talk to in the first place.

8. Only in America...... do we buy hot dogs in packages of ten and buns in packages of eight.

9. Only in America......~ do we use the word politics' to describe the process so well: "Poli" in Latin meaning "many"and "tics" meaning "bloodsucking creatures".

10. Only in America......~ do they have drive-u ATM machines with Braille lettering.

In Canada the drugstores are not allowed to sell cigarettes, they used to forever but the government made that illegal....which makes total sense when you think about it.

I thought it was evident from all the tobacco related deaths that that stuff's bad for you.

Do so many people want to die that they keep shooting down any motions to ban cigarettes?

When will the madness and killing end? When will we finally get rid of the main source of lung cancer and emphysema?

When will I stop adding all these smilies?

Yeah, well, I predict when they do find a cure for lung cancer there will be a lot more people smoking. Then if they lower the price back to six bits a pack where it belongs, I may take it up again.

yea, I still smoke-so shut the **** up & hand me anything else that does NOT cause cancer. water, milk, coffee, pop, meat, fruit(sprayed with ddt, etc) veggies(see fruit), air, cars, and damned near everything else on this planet.

if the stupid-assed ranchers & farmers could get a paycheck to suit thier needs & quit injecting cattle with growth hormones & spraying out fauna with poisons I'd bet my life cancer would reduce.
