Last week we had no school because we got like 2'+ of snow (up to 4' in drifts).
Last night we got 2" of snow..nothing big.
So they call a two hour delay. Roads get cleared some. SOLID ICE underneath the snow. Some buses make it, some don't. My bus was picking up elementary school kids..runs about 30 mins before he picks us up for high school. He said he slid two bus lengths with chains on!
So, while everyone else is at school, I get an excused day off! Sweet!
