Here's another opportunity to get a xibase.com email address!
Do either or both of the following 2 things between now (June 26th) and July 26th.
1) Get 5 of your friends to join up and stay. There are a couple different ways to make sure you are credited as the referrer, either give them a link to XiBase like this: http://forum.xibase.com/index.php?referrerid=x where "x" is your user ID number (you can find this by clicking on the profile button on your post in any thread and then looking at the URL in the address bar), or make sure the person you refer knows your username so they can enter it in the referrer box at signup.
2) Join the XiBase Genome@Home Team and contribute genes for 3 or more weeks (preferrably the latter, "more"
)
Also, your friends who you refer here are also eligible to get email addresses through either of these 2 conditions, so be sure and tell them that.
Rules? We dun need no steenkin' rules!
Well, maybe a few.
First, you can't go spamming the link for XiBase around or signing up multiple times as yourself. You have to send the link only to your friends who you think will really enjoy it here. If we get a report of you spamming links anywhere, you'll be disqualified.
Secondly, your friends have to stay here longer than just the duration of the contest. If your only intent is to meet the contest conditions and then high-tail it with your email address, you got another thing coming.
And finally, you won't be able to keep the email address if you use it to spam or you get banned from here. (obviously)
After the contest is closed, if you haven't finished your 3 weeks of Genome yet, you'll still be eligible, just continue on to your 3 weeks or more and you will still be given the email address. You have to have started before the end of the contest, though.
If you already have a @xibase.com email address through a forwarder, you can still choose to upgrade to a full email address if you complete one of the 2 conditions above.
