Durons are as low as $29 now and many of them can achieve 30-50% overclocks using simple air cooling.

30-50% these days is a lot of power...

when it all started out, I don't think anybody really knew the true power of the Durons, but AMD was confident and kept prices low from the beginning...

they had to be losing some money on that one, but when word got around, they got it all back

The pencil trick was a neat "feature"

Now if only we can get overclocked dual Durons. They're supposed to be MP capable, but not sure if the 760MP chipset will do it. Here's hoping that Abit release a dual Duron mobo sometime soon.

All their current processors should be MP capable.. I think they were actually tried out in some Thunder K7 reviews.
