Is my video card dying?

See the sticky for the rig thread for my full specs. My video card is a Leadtek Winslow Geforce2 GTS 64mb. It was once overclocked, but as I am now using Windows XP exclusively, it is no longer overclocked.

In the following modes, I get absolutely NO red signal to the monitor at all:

<ul><li>640x480
<ul><li>60hz<li>72hz<li>75hz</ul><li>800x600
<ul><li>60hz<li>72hz</ul><li>1024x768
<ul><li>60hz</ul></ul>

And in every mode, I get everything from a weakened green signal (the screen takes on a pinkish/purple tint), to light red tints going across the screen in short (approximately 5 pixels high) but long lines, to the video card not even sending any information to the monitor, thereby disabling use of my system every time it happens.

I tried all the modes that I could try with a TNT2 Vanta 8 meg from the system that is currently without a board (see "This one has me stumped" in this forum if you don't know) and NONE of them give me the oddities/artifacts as they do with my Geforce2 GTS.

Is my video card dying? :(

Nope, it's the monitor. This is the second monitor, and second defect that I have had from KDS. They aren't really winning over my favor when recommending a new monitor to customers
