actually if the DNS is set to receive automatically, it might not have anything there, i'm stumped, why not use ICS?

To get the DNS, connect the DSL modem directly to your computer
and look at the properties of your connection in network connections, you'll see the DNS server addresses in the TCP/IP settings if memory serves right, i'd call the people to find out though.

I did just that and it's all set to obtain address's automatically

I did get hold of HomeLan and he is gonna call me today and help me straighten it out. He has the same ISP and basically the same setup I think.

I've never used ICS but that's a thought ;)

Thanks Homey ;)

btw - I didn't even have to do anything to the other two puters...they connected just fine as is.

Well I've been on Bellsouth DSL for two days now and I've:

won about 24 million dollars

been offered free access to 8 porn sites (no, these are really free)

received offers on how to lose 40 lbs. in 30 minutes

received 10 offers to work from home and become a millionaire in two months

offer for top secret banned cd that is only being offered to me

3 time sensitive "were letting the secret outta the bag" offers

offer for cd with 250 billion email addresses on it

and last but not least........drum roll....

5 offers to have my penis enlarged

Don't call me Fury! The name is fury! :aheadbng:

And yeah, I was at one time fooled into thinking I could get DSL, at 2 different places in fact. But then I learned that they only tell me that so I'll get my hopes up and get all excited, only to be brought down into depression when they actually come to install it and then tell me I'm just barely too far away to get it.

I think some of that junk mail was left over from when I had my Bellsouth dial-up account. I had the same email addy. I've only received a couple in the last few days.
