How's this for my next upgrade

I just ordered this last night.

P4 2.4ghz /533 mhz/retail
Soyo Dragon Ultra Platinum Edition
512 mb DDR / 400
XP4 128 mb

What i really want to know is if there;s any problem running the DDR 400 with that motherboard. I read that there could be bottle necks.

Second is XP4. It's supposely very fast but I can't find a review anywhere on the net. Any one know if it's good?

That system looks very decent. You should be able to take that chip up to 2.7-2.8GHz with a B0 stepping. If you are lucky enough to get a C1 stepping, you should hit 3GHz without much problem. I haven't used that board, but if it has 3:4 RAM ratio, you will be in VERY good shape. Don't know what I would do without my 3:4 ratio on my 4G4A+ My 2.4B taps out at about 2.8 flat. Moving to watercooling soon enough though

Where did you get that XP4? I'm very interested in picking one of these up to review. How much was it?

Hello,

I got my Xp4 from here http://www.cbwnet.com/default.php?cPath=56&sort=2a&&page=2&osCsid=b75e67a26e35f747d4bb9ed934c52783.

It's only $99 so even if it's close to the gf4's benchmarks by about 80%, it's still a good buy since it's about 1/3 the cost of of it.

I mean let's look at bench marks and we can bitch that it's behind the 4600 by a few points. But I'd rather keep the $200 and buy more hardware.
