I'm always telling people not to install the @home software crap. It's usually older than what you have now & it does NOTHING to improve performance. Tonight, I went to thier site & got the lowdown on what the "new" package contains-
@Home Browser useless
Internet Explorer 5.5 IE6 is out
Macromedia Shockwave 7.0 and Flash 4.0 yesterdays news
RealPlayer 7 how about RP8?
Excite Messenger for @Home wohoo
Excite ToolbarI'm getting hard now
We strongly recommend you download and install this versionspyware???

So, all you new cable users-don't bother with it-it's a waste of time :rolleyes:

I haven't looked into @home much yet. What other perks come with it? web space? how many emails?

When I was an @home customer I never even thought about putting their disk in my computer.

Good thing.

10MB webspace. This can be accessed through member services and the password is the same as your email.
