HOLLYWOOD (Variety) - Trust this one: the Emmy-winning sci-fi powerhouse ``The X-Files '' will wrap its nine-season run on Fox in May.

Series creator Chris Carter and Fox confirmed the decision Wednesday following a meeting in which Carter told Fox Entertainment Television Group chairman Sandy Grushow and entertainment president Gail Berman he was ready to end the series.

I can't remember but there was an episode of x-files that pissed me off several years ago. Then they started getting these plot and subplot shit built in that wasn't there in early episodes. Who is the green man and why does he only show up when Scully has her legs spread on the internet? LOL. Serious, they made the show to freakin' weird and there was too much implied crap and little secret bullshit that they tried to sucker people into tuning each week for. After the first few seasons, the show sucked.

X-files was pretty cool for a little while, but it just got boring up to the last few seasons.
