It's what people know about themselves that makes people hate him. Most would gladly be him without thought and deep inside they know it.

I was being sarcastic. Actually, I stole the idea for that comment from a Clint Eastwood movie, High Plains Drifter.

I'm not saying I like Gates, I'm just saying that we've all reached a point in our lives where we needed to be humbled. A pie in the face gives some perspective.
