BigDadday Everday People Aug 12, 2001 #1 Had this long before my cd-writer and all of a sudden it's not showing up in Mycomputer. I've gone and uninstalled/reinstalled,unplugged puter.reboot several times and just once it was recognized but after I rebooted it went away again. Any ideas?

ris i am my my own evil twin Aug 12, 2001 #2 try unstalling it totally, software, hardware and in safe mode as well. check the parallel port settings in the bios too - change the epp and ecp settings and see if that makes a difference.
