<a href="/vB/chat.php?s=">Chat</a> - If you are asked to install JPilot software, allow it. This is the software that allows you to chat from within xibase.

If you have an external client such as XiRCON or mIRC for Windows, or BitchX for Unix/Linux, you can get to the same place by typing /server irc.enterthegame.com and once you are connected, /join #xibase

You don't have to come into this thread to be able to get into chat, though - there is a

button up at the top which takes you to the chat page, and the link to the stats is directly below the fine print at the top asking you to grant any permissions you are notified of.
