Why don't the Israelis just put an end to this & move to South Carolina? Everybody, it seems, is against them & their protecting themselves. Give up, move away, let Yassir(she's my baby, nosir, I don't mean maybe) Arafat have the land & the buildings & let that stupid putz turn a open, free market into another slum. Maybe it'll be okay that Syrians/Jordanians/Egyptians/Saudis/Paestinians get murdered when it's another Islamic radical instead of a Jewish head of state protecting his people.

One thing is for sure. Something has to be done to bring peace to that region. The unrest over there affects the rest of the world too by causing factions to take their anger out on the rest of the world.

Walk away. Let them continue as they're going. Pretty soon, they'll come begging for us to intervene. Then we impose a stiff paymnet...like say 20 years of free oil. OK, maybe 20 years is kinda stiff. Maybe 10 instead.

I agree that something has to be done. But by whom? Not by the US, not by Europe...at least no military intervention.
It would be wise to stay out of this matter, at least on military level. There are already too many humanitary missions around the world.
Give diplomatic assistance, nothing more. And if both parties don't want to take the advice of anybody, let them figure it out by themselves. Because both parties are wrong in this war. Both Israelis and Palestinians.

Imagine...were still experiencing the effects from one little unemployed Austrian artist.

Uhm, yeah. But what does that gotta do with this? The Third Reich matter doesn't really relate to the situation in Israel...?

On May 14, 1948, at 4:00 p.m., an historic event was about to occur. The leaders of the Jewish community in what was then called Palestine gathered in the Tel Aviv Museum on Rothschild Blvd., Tel Aviv, to declare the establishment of an old/new country - the STATE OF ISRAEL.

This was done after the end of WWII because of what happened to their people. Cause and effect in action.

I don't need no stinking glasss...

as Sharon talks of easing the peace process, let's take a look at what those peace loving Palestinians are up to
JERUSALEM (AP) - A Palestinian suicide bomber blew himself up in a crowded garden cafe across the street from Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's walled residential compound Saturday night. Police said 11 people were killed as the Mideast endured another day of widespread violence.

oh good, they're assisiting in the process, less of them, less to worry about:mad:

it's getting deeper & deeper

JERUSALEM (AP) - A Palestinian suicide bomber transformed a crowded cafe into a mass of maimed bodies and upturned, blood-covered furniture Saturday night, killing at least 12 people in an attack across the street from Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's walled compound. By Sunday morning, Israel had destroyed Yasser Arafat's seaside office in Gaza and some ministers were calling for all-out war.
The compound, where Arafat received world leaders and held many news conferences, was empty at the time of the attack. Arafat himself has been trapped in the West Bank city of Ramallah by Israeli forces for more than three months.
