I'm digitizing The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy radio show. 6 hours to hopefully one cd (I'm working on the last tape now). Funny as hell radio show I have ever heard in my life. I'm doing it for a)because I want to have it on my Rio Riot and b) send a copy down to my bro because he's been working his ass off for his flight training and I think he'd like a copy. Just either drop me an email or pvt msg if you want one (include your snail mail address; have to pick up cd mailers though).

Have to redo I've got 2 hrs of the show redone in this new sound program Cool Edit which has a very nice UI and stuff. Anyone can recommend any freebee sound programs? At least wav -> mp3?

LAME is probably the best wav->mp3 program. Read this FAQ for info.

I use Exact Audio Copy as the front end....both are free.
