I use RedHat. A few months after I used RedHat at home, I started using Debian at work. I quickly figured out that Debian was right for me.

But I'm too lazy to zap RedHat off of my home computer and install Debian. So I use Redhat.

(So I voted for Debian :-)

lahosken,
I wondered if we were gonna see you man. Glad you made it back to the forums.
If you really like debian then you should try

redmond linux
It is a very nice distro still in beta but as usual more stable than any winders...

The only problem with it is it's based on Caldera. However, it's also one of the few that I have gotten to install on a laptop quite easily.

One post is the best you could do? :P

I'm a Mandrake user myself.
Right now, it may be a little more blotted than others, like slack,
but it seems to be the most user friendly, and for me has the best/easiest
options for clustering.

Yeah I've just got it on 1 out of 12 machines right now, but
I'm thinking seriously about switching over on 4 more of them,
including a 3.0gig P4 I about to build, and get more into it.

I'm really growing tired of MS's crap. (keeping tabs, and junk upgrades) :hmm:

Hello Dudes!

Yep, it's been a while for me hybernating down here. There are a lot of raids down here regarding M$ anti-piracy movement by our government and we have no choice but to use LINUX coz no win95,98, or Me is for sale nowadays. The Business Alliance of M$ is forcing us to buy the expensive XP and I'm still using my k6-II 350 machine!:)

I'm starting to appreciate LINUX nowadays and I have PC Linux, Mepis Linux and Puppy Linux to look into.

More power and best regards.

These toys recommend external modem. I'll be trying to use external modem to play with. Most folks down here need only Word processor, Spreadsheet, Internet and Webcam in their PC. If I cud meet their requirements we both are happy flushing out M$hit! LOL.
