professional graphics

I see all these great looking websites that have professional looking graphics. All the cd's with 1 zillion graphics files that I see in computer stores look like junk or amateurish? Where do people get these like many of the large corporations use on their sites?

I bought a 7 cd set of clipart about a year ago and wouldn't want to use any of them for a site.

Yeah, what Ash said....find some cool pics that fits the content of the site, maipulate it, add effects etc and you're there. You don't neccesarily have to use Photoshop (although that's what I use). You can create some pretty nice effects in Painshop Pro for instance.

A simple illustration are these pics manipulated in Photoshop:

These are all pics I've scanned from flyers from different vendors, and I'm gonna use it on a website I'm working on.
